In light of a little project we’re working on here at FAC, it seemed an appropriate choice to share the work of James Gulliver Hancock, an illustrator currently living in Brooklyn. Stating that, “I feel I should draw everything in the world at least once”, the illustrator takes on the challenge of drawing every building in New York City. While this seems an impressive feat, Hancock is no stranger to obsessively documenting the world around him. In addition to his New York project, Hancock has documented ‘All the Bicycles in Berlin’, ‘All the Rain in London’ (my personal fav) and ‘All the Snow in Montreal’. My only hope is that he’ll come to Vancouver one day… ‘All the Yoga Pants in Vancouver’ would be a brilliant project.
